What it is like
Work here is quantitative. We emphasize the development of models that can be written down and data large enough that you will write code to handle it, ideally with an argument about how the two agree. This is an interdisciplinary group, meaning that we welcome those with backgrounds from the life, physical, and mathematical sciences. Nobody knows everything, meaning that part of the job is to teach one other.
We share code and data with our papers in line with our Open Science principles. We do not discriminate against any member or applicant for employment due to their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, economic background, or socioeconomic status.
